Someone will build the network your country needs. It should be you.

One person in each country builds the trusted practitioner network their country needs. The network is theirs — not Kofa’s. Kofa helps structure it, and then partners with it: the platform, the verification standards, the client demand, and the brand on one side; your network, your relationships, your country on the other.

One appointment per country — by invitation and introduction only

01 · The partnership

The network is yours. We help you structure it. We partner with it.

This is not a franchise, and this is not a job. It is a partnership between the person who builds the network and the platform that makes it work. You bring the country, the trust, and the relationships. Kofa brings the software, the structure, the verification standards, and the organisations that need what your network knows.

Yours

What you own

The network is an asset you build and you hold. The coordinators, the practitioners, the relationships, the structure — they are yours. You decide how the network is built in your country, and it stays your network for as long as you steward it.

  • The coordinator network — yours to build, yours to hold
  • The relationships — coordinators, practitioners, institutions
  • The structure — how your country’s network is organised
  • The decisions — recruitment channels, fee tables, priorities
  • The name — the person who built it, on record
Kofa's side

What we bring to the partnership

We don’t build the network for you — that would be exactly what fails everywhere else. We give the network you build the structure, the standards, and the demand that make it work.

  • The platform — briefs, prep room, sessions, decision assets
  • The structure — coordinator tiers, verification process, quality rules
  • The standards — separation, evidence, incentives
  • The demand — organisations that need practitioner intelligence
  • The brand — Kofa’s reputation behind your country’s network
When an organisation needs practitioners in your country, the engagement routes through your network, on Kofa’s platform. The network is the asset you own. The platform is how the partnership runs.

The knowledge already exists — it just never travels

02 · The problem this fixes

The knowledge already exists. It just never travels.

A development programme once ran for months — community interviews, ninety pages of market research, focus groups, stakeholder workshops. Less than a year later, much of it had to be revisited. The factor that ultimately determined whether people participated had never appeared in any survey: a dispute between two community leaders, predating the programme by more than a decade. Everyone in the village knew. Nobody in the research process had thought to ask.

The knowledge had existed the entire time. The people closest to the problem already understood it. The system simply was not built to hear them. Kofa was built to change that — but it cannot do it from a desk. It requires people already embedded in the communities that hold the knowledge.

Practitioners across Africa — loan officers, cooperative leaders, health workers, procurement officers — hold the ground truth organisations need. Most of them have watched their knowledge extracted without credit, without compensation, without recognition. The network you build is the mechanism that reverses that — in your country.

03 · Why now

The demand is here. The infrastructure is not.

Development finance institutions, impact investors, NGOs, and research organisations are allocating more capital into African markets than at any previous point in history. Every one of them faces the same problem — they need ground-level intelligence they cannot get from a desk.

$100B+
Annual DFI investment in Africa

Every dollar requires market intelligence to deploy responsibly. Almost none of it reaches the people who actually hold that intelligence.

0
Reliable infrastructure for moving practitioner judgement

Organisations have built extraordinary systems for collecting information. Nobody built a reliable way to move the judgement that makes information useful.

Now
The window to be first

The person who builds this network in their country first will have built something that compounds for a decade. That window opens once.

The window opens once

The organisations that will pay for practitioner intelligence already exist. The practitioners who hold the knowledge already exist. What does not yet exist is the trusted local network that connects them. That is what you build — and it has to be built before the opportunity closes.

04 · What this offers

Five things most roles never give you.

There is no point softening what this requires. Building trusted infrastructure takes patience, relationship capital, and long-term thinking. In return, this partnership offers five things that almost no other opportunity can match.

Return · 01 · Income

Earnings that grow while you sleep

Every session delivered anywhere in your network generates an automatic override payment — paid to you regardless of whether you were personally involved. You earn on the volume of a network you built, not on the hours you personally logged. There is no income during the build phase — we will not pretend otherwise — but a mature network earns on every session that flows through it.

Return · 02 · Control

You build your network your way, in your country

We do not know whether the fee structure that works in Nigeria makes sense in your country. You do. Country Partners propose their own country fee tables, define their own recruitment channels, and evaluate what works in their market. Kofa holds the product, the client relationships, and the brand. You hold the network.

Return · 03 · Recognition

A credential built on something real

Most people who are deeply connected in their professional community carry that reputation invisibly — it lives in WhatsApp contacts and introductions. Being the person who built your country’s trusted practitioner network is a specific, verifiable, lasting credential that grows publicly, year after year.

Return · 04 · Mission

Fix something you have probably felt personally

If you have worked in development, research, or on-the-ground professional roles, you have almost certainly watched knowledge get extracted — practitioners consulted briefly, their experience repackaged, no credit and no compensation. Kofa was built to reverse that. The Founding Country Partner is the person who makes that reversal real.

Return · 05 · Network

The network is yours — Kofa partners with it

Every coordinator you develop, every practitioner you bring in, every relationship you build while creating your country’s presence is a relationship you own. That compounds long after the first session is delivered. The network you build for your country is also the network you carry with you for the rest of your career.

05 · What you build

Picture your country two years from now.

Coordinators you recruited and developed are running their regions independently. Practitioners verified through your network are being called by DFI analysts in London, researchers in Geneva, and investors in New York. Sessions are completing while you are in other meetings. The override income is arriving automatically. An organisation needs sixty structured interviews across three regions — your network delivers it in three weeks. Your name is on everything that made it possible.

Build · 01

A Coordinator Network

Trusted people embedded across your country who know their communities, understand local institutions, and can identify practitioners no database could ever surface.

Build · 02

Regional Leaders

People capable of running their areas without depending on you — the measure of your success is not how much you control, but how much leadership you leave behind.

Build · 03

A Verified Practitioner Network

Professionals whose experience has been independently confirmed and whose insights organisations can rely on when the decision actually matters.

Build · 04

National Field Capacity

When organisations need structured interviews, observations, or field intelligence at scale across your country, the network you built is how it happens.

Build · 05

Your Country’s Reputation

Every practitioner welcomed, every coordinator developed, every engagement delivered with quality — this becomes the reputation your country’s network carries.

Build · 06

Something That Outlasts You

The network you build continues operating long after you step back from the day-to-day. That is what a Founding Country Partner leaves behind.

You · Lead (Tier 3)Founding Country Partner

Builds the network. Develops leaders. Sets standards. Appoints Regionals directly.

Tier 2Regional Coordinators

Lead regions, maintain quality, develop the local layer — and add the Locals and Ad Hoc contributors you recommend.

Tier 1Local Coordinators & Ad Hoc Contributors

Identify, verify, and support practitioners in their communities. Recommended to Regionals — appointed on demonstrated quality.

NetworkVerified Practitioners

The people whose knowledge organisations depend on — sourced, verified, and supported by your coordinators.

OutcomeBetter Decisions

Ground truth reaching the people who needed it — with evidence at every step.

06 · Your workspace

The platform half of the partnership, made visible.

Your network is yours. The platform is the other half — and it is the same platform the coordinators and practitioners in your country use. Here is what it looks like from where you sit.

Country Partner Workspace

Your network, on the platform — made visible.

Coordinators by tier, sessions routed through your network, overrides accruing automatically, and the quality evidence behind every record — the same platform your coordinators and practitioners use.

Country Partner WorkspaceYour network · Nigeria
Network

Regional Coordinators, Local Coordinators, Ad Hoc Contributors — every coordinator you brought in, visible with their sourcing and verification acceptance over time, across every state and region you cover.

Flow

Sessions this month — routed through your network, on the Kofa platform. Each one generating an automatic override to you.

Overrides

Accruing automatically — quality-gated. Sessions that pass the quality gate earn; sessions below threshold do not. No chasing, no invoicing.

Quality

Sourcing and verification acceptance across your country, network-health flags, and the monthly integrity report — the same evidence the platform keeps for every decision asset.

The network is the asset you own. The platform is how the partnership runs.

07 · How the money works

Your network earns. The platform carries it.

The income model is simple. Every paid session delivered anywhere in your country’s network generates an automatic override payment to you — calibrated to your local market, paid in your local currency, and gated on quality so the incentive always points toward building well, not just building fast.

Income sourceWhat generates itWhen it activates
Country Network Override

Paid automatically on every session that passes the quality gate — wherever in your network it was delivered, regardless of your personal involvement.

Per completed session that clears the quality gate. Sessions below threshold earn nothing. The fee is set in your local currency at launch and reviewed every six months.
Once sessions flow in your country
Escalation Task Fees

Fees for defined responsibilities — onboarding a Regional Coordinator, conducting a country quality audit, resolving a network dispute.

Per defined assignment, agreed in advance. Significant individual amounts for work that strengthens the network.
When those responsibilities arise
Field Intelligence Project Management

When organisations commission large-scale field research deployments — 30, 60, 100 structured interviews across your country — you lead it, manage the regional assignments, and earn a project management fee.

Per deployment, paid on delivery. Fees scale with the scope of the project and the size of the coordinator layer you mobilise.
As Field Intelligence work expands
How the override compounds — illustrative, any currency
25 sessions pass the gate

50 sessions pass the gate
50 × your rate
100 sessions pass the gate

150 sessions pass the gate

The honest version: there is no income while you are building the network. We will not dress that up. The people capable of building this are not people who need income on day one — they already have stability, and they are thinking in years, not months. When sessions begin flowing, your override is automatic, uncapped, quality-gated, and grows with every coordinator you develop and every practitioner who joins the network. There is no equity pool and no share of the company — what is real is the override, the escalation fees, and the Field Intelligence management fees, all earned on work your network actually delivers.

Earned on work your network actually delivers

08 · The control

Your country. Your network. Your call.

We are not asking you to execute our playbook in your country. We are asking you to write the playbook for your country — because you are the only one who can.

Kofa’s core model — the coordinator tiers, the verification system, the session structure, the product itself — is fixed. Everything around how that model is built locally is yours to define. We know the system. You know the country. Both are required for this partnership to work.

You hold the network — and every decision about how it is built

01

You set the fee structure for your country

Coordinator pay rates are proposed by you and reviewed with Kofa. What motivates a coordinator in Accra is different from what motivates one in Kigali. You know which number makes sense.

02

You define the recruitment channels

NGO alumni networks, cooperative federations, university departments, extension worker programmes — which channels are trusted in your country is knowledge only you hold.

03

You evaluate what works and flag what doesn’t

If something in the system doesn’t fit your market, you have the authority — and the responsibility — to flag it for redesign. Local feedback is how Kofa improves.

04

You shape Kofa’s country strategy over time

As your network matures, Country Partners contribute directly to decisions about expansion, new market segments, operational improvements, and how the coordinator model evolves.

05

You build directly alongside the founders

This is not a franchise relationship. Country Partners work directly with Kofa’s founders. Your experience building on the ground informs how the entire platform evolves.

We hold the product, the client relationships, and the brand standards. You hold the network — and everything that makes those things work in your country. That is not a delegation. That is the entire point.

Trust was earned, not designed

09 · Who this is for

You already know who you are.

Most Founding Country Partners are people who have spent years being the most connected person in the room — the one who knows where to find who, whose calls get answered, whose introductions carry weight. That reputation was not designed. It was earned. We are not looking for the most impressive résumé. We are looking for the person other people in their professional community already depend on.

Most arrive through referrals. Exceptional people also introduce themselves. Every introduction receives the same serious consideration.

Quality · 01

Trust already follows your name

People have seen you keep your word over years. Your reputation is the kind that takes a decade to build and cannot be manufactured in months.

Quality · 02

You develop people, not just manage them

You have made others more capable, more confident, and more independent. You know the difference between leading and doing the work yourself.

Quality · 03

You exercise judgement under uncertainty

When there is no written rule to follow you make the right call anyway. You know when to move, when to wait, and when to protect standards even when it costs you something.

Quality · 04

You already have stability

You are not looking for immediate income. You have the foundation that lets you invest energy into something whose rewards compound over years, not weeks.

Quality · 05

Quality matters more to you than speed

You would rather grow slowly than compromise the people around you. You understand that trusted networks cannot be rushed — only built.

Not the right fit today if

You need income immediately, prefer executing work over building systems, or are still developing the trusted relationships this partnership depends on. None of these are shortcomings — the timing simply may not be right yet.

10 · What being first means

First is not a head start. It is permanent.

The person who builds the trusted network in their country first will be the person who built the trusted network in their country. That sentence will still be true in ten years. There is one Founding Country Partner per country. There will only ever be one. The first appointment is the founding appointment.

One country · One founding partner · Appointed once

Appointed once · Stewarded for as long as it grows

Permanence

Your name is on it

The network you build carries your decisions, your standards, and your relationships at its foundation. Everyone who joins traces back to the choices you made at the start.

Exclusivity

One per country — always

Kofa will never appoint a second Founding Country Partner for a country that already has one. As long as the trust is maintained and the network continues to grow, you remain the steward.

Influence

You shape what Kofa becomes

Country Partners are not operators who execute decisions made elsewhere. What you learn building locally informs what becomes global.

Legacy

Built to run without you

Your greatest achievement will not be the sessions you delivered. It will be the leaders you developed and the people who carry the work forward once you step aside.

11 · The process

One conversation to start.

There is no long application. No committee. No automated scoring system. Every Founding Country Partner relationship begins the same way — a conversation with one of Kofa’s founders. If both sides believe the fit is right, we move forward carefully from there.

Step 01You introduce yourself
Step 02We talk
Step 03We decide together
Step 01

You introduce yourself

A short introduction — who you are, where you work, and what draws you to this. Three or four sentences is enough. We are not asking for a CV. We want to understand who you are in your community.

Step 02

We talk

If your background appears aligned with the role, one of Kofa’s founders reaches out directly. The first conversation is open — we share what this actually requires, you share what you are actually building toward.

Step 03

We decide together

Appointment only happens when both sides are certain. You will receive the full Founding Country Partner guide, understand exactly what the 90-day build phase requires, and have every question answered before anything is signed.

12 · Questions worth asking

The questions you should be asking.

The eight questions every serious candidate brings to the first conversation — and the honest answers.

Is there any income during the build phase?

No. We will not dress this up. The build phase — your first 90 days and beyond — is about establishing the coordinator network and bringing practitioners into it. Income begins once paid client engagements start flowing in your country. The faster and better you build the foundation, the sooner that transition happens.

What exactly do I earn and when?

You earn an automatic override on every session anywhere in your network that passes the quality gate — paid in your local currency at a rate set with you at launch and reviewed every six months. Sessions below threshold earn nothing, so the incentive always points toward building well. You also earn escalation task fees for defined responsibilities like onboarding a Regional Coordinator, and Field Intelligence project management fees paid on delivery. A mature network generates income that rivals a senior professional salary — without requiring your daily involvement.

How much time does this actually require?

Most Founding Country Partners begin while continuing their existing professional work. During the build phase the role is intensive in a focused way — identifying coordinators, developing relationships, establishing the network. As the network matures, your role shifts from active building to stewardship and quality oversight.

How much control do I actually have?

The network is yours — that is the whole point. You propose the fee structure, define the recruitment channels, evaluate what is working, and flag what needs to change. Kofa holds the product, the client relationships, and the brand — you hold the network and every decision about how it is built locally.

Why only one person per country?

Because accountability requires clarity. One person is responsible for building, protecting, and developing the country’s network. Divided accountability becomes no accountability. The role is intentionally rare — not to create artificial scarcity, but because a trusted network can only have one steward.

What if Kofa does not grow quickly enough in my country?

Every market grows at its own pace. Kofa’s commitment is to build correctly rather than chase artificial growth. If a market proves genuinely difficult, we work with the Country Partner to understand why, adjust the approach, and build patiently.

Can I lose the role?

Yes — but only if the standards the partnership requires are no longer being met. Kofa believes in direct conversations, clear expectations, and genuine opportunities to improve before any formal step is taken. Stewardship is maintained through sustained quality and trust.

What support will Kofa provide?

Direct access to the founders throughout the build phase. The full coordinator playbook — every process documented end to end. The platform — coordinator tools, verification workflows, quality dashboards. Monthly strategy sessions. Launch support for your first practitioner sourcing and verification rounds. You are building independently — but you are never building without support.
